Muhammad Ali Jinnah only spent a short amount of time in Karachi after his return from England. He subsequently moved from Karachi to Bombay in order to pursue his career as a barrister. By doing so, he effectively killed two birds with one stone – by completely moving away from the ‘jurisdiction of Sind’ and leaving a messy situation behind. Therefore, by the time he reached the age of “21” (officially), he was established and setup in Bombay and far away from any legal disputes in Karachi, and his family members too had relocated with him as all biographical accounts point out. Thus the ‘Jinnah’ family was saved due to these ‘changes’.
