Punjab Sees Floodwaters Recede but New Warning Issued

In Punjab, floods in the major rivers such as Indus, Ravi, and Jhelum have gone back to normalcy following the devastating monsoon rains. Officials claim over 4,700 villages are wrecked yet, efforts are being made to recover. New alerts of possible flash floods in Murree, Galiyat, and Rawalpindi have been given by the PDMA on September 18-19 expecting the people to be on high alert.
