Punjab Police Arrest Three Suspects in Lahore Gang-Rape Case, Hunt for Fourth Continues”

On March 24, 2025, Punjab police arrested three suspects for allegedly gang-raping a woman in Lahore. The arrests occurred within two hours of the incident being reported, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend a fourth suspect. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran is overseeing the investigation. According to initial findings, one suspect invited the victim from Sahiwal to Lahore and accommodated her at a relative’s house, where the assault took place over two consecutive days. A case has been registered under Section 375A (gang rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code at Chung police station.
