PM Urges Expansion of Rail Links to Central Asian Countries

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need to expand Pakistan’s railway network to connect with Central Asian states. Speaking at a high-level meeting, he highlighted the potential for boosting regional trade, economic integration, and improved connectivity through enhanced rail infrastructure. The PM directed officials to accelerate work on key projects like the ML-1 (Main Line-1) and explore new international routes. He also stressed modernizing the railway system to meet international standards and support long-term economic goals.
