Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Washington today (Wednesday) to attend the inaugural session of the Gaza Board of Peace. The prime minister is scheduled to participate in a session of the board on February 19, an initiative led by President Trump. The BoP session is said to focus on the rehabilitation of the war-devastated Gaza and other related matters.
The BoP, formed by President Trump, has garnered support from several key Muslim countries, including Pakistan, as well as some non-Muslim states. The sources indicated that Muslim countries are expected to contribute up to $5 billion in funding for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Gaza.
