PM Orders Review of Ramazan Relief Package Awareness Amid Low Beneficiary Uptake

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed ministries to collaborate with the private sector to enhance awareness of the Rs5,000 Ramazan Relief Package, distributed via digital wallets. This initiative is part of a Rs20 billion program targeting four million families nationwide. Currently, only about 20% of beneficiaries have utilized the funds, primarily due to a lack of awareness. To address this, the PM suggested promoting the helpline 9999 for information and requested feedback from stakeholders within a week to potentially expand the relief package.
