PCB Welcomes Potential Bids For Multan Sultans Franchise Rights

Jarida Report

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to auction the rights for the Multan Sultans franchise ahead of the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.

Interested parties have been invited to bid for the franchise rights. Previously, the PCB had decided to operate the Multan Sultans franchise for a year, but after the record-breaking sales of two other PSL franchises, the board has now opted to sell the Multan Sultans franchise as well.

Ali Tareen previously owned the Multan Sultans. PCB recently sold two new PSL teams, expanding PSL 11 to eight teams, with Hyderabad and Sialkot joining the league. The PSL 11 players’ draft is expected to take place on January 30.
