Pakistan Mart to Open in Dubai in Push to Expand Export Reach

Jarida Report

Pakistan is set to launch a dedicated “Pakistan Mart” in Dubai, aimed at enhancing its global export footprint and supporting local traders, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan announced on Wednesday. Calling it a “game changer,” he said the project—backed by Pakistan’s National Logistics Corporation and UAE’s DP World—will streamline the export of Pakistani goods worldwide. The move comes amid rising trade with the UAE, where exports reached $2.121 billion in FY25, up 1.87% from last year. Despite growing exports of rice, garments, and mangoes, Pakistan’s trade deficit with the Middle East widened due to soaring petroleum imports.
