Pakistan Launches First Home-Made Observation Satellite EO-1

Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) successfully launched its first domestically developed observation satellite, EO-1, on Friday. The satellite was deployed from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northern China. Equipped with electro-optical sensors, EO-1 is capable of capturing high-resolution images and data by analyzing reflected sunlight and emitted radiation.
