Pakistan’s Foreign Office summoned the Afghan diplomat to formally register a strong protest over the recent terrorist attack in Bajaur.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, the Afghan Deputy Ambassador was handed an official protest note expressing deep concern over the use of Afghan territory in the Bajaur attack. On February 16, security forces in Bajaur were targeted in a cross-border attack carried out by militants affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 11 personnel.
