Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on the sidelines of a United Nations Security Council meeting.
During the meeting, Dar thanked the British foreign secretary for convening an important session on Palestine. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two leaders conducted a detailed review of Pakistan-UK bilateral relations and agreed to further enhance cooperation across various sectors. Both sides emphasised the importance of promoting people-to-people contacts and maintaining high-level engagements. They also agreed to continue effective coordination at the United Nations platform.
