Pakistan and Sri Lanka have agreed to enhance cooperation between their interior ministries, focusing on internal security, counter-terrorism, and anti-narcotics efforts.
Federal Interior and Narcotics Control Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Home Affairs, where he was warmly received by Sri Lankan Minister for Home Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala. During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening mutual assistance in internal security, counter-terrorism, and drug control operations. They also deliberated on forming a joint strategy against cybercrime and financial fraud networks.
