Online Complaint Tracking System Launched By Punjab Safe Cities Authority

Jarida Report

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has introduced a modern online tracking system for complaints registered on its 15-helpline, marking another step toward public welfare and transparency. Under the new system, citizens can monitor the progress of their complaints online 24/7. Once an FIR is registered, a download link, the complaint’s e-tag number, and details will be sent via WhatsApp.

Residents can download their FIRs from home and verify the information. Applicants will receive a username and password via message, allowing them to check the status of their complaint and provide feedback. Through the Virtual Women Police Station, women can access legal guidance and follow-up services from home. Under the Safe City post-FIR follow-up service, affected women are kept in continuous contact, ensuring proper assistance.
