Newlyweds Die by Suicide Over ‘Delayed Honeymoon’

A newlywed couple from Chak Bhaiwala, Faisalabad, allegedly died by suicide after jumping in front of a moving train near Gatti Railway Station. Sajid Ali had demanded money from his brother Fahad to fund a honeymoon trip to Naran Kaghan. Fahad asked him to wait a few days to arrange the funds. Sajid warned that he and his wife, Fauzia Bibi, would kill themselves if the money didn’t arrive. When it didn’t, the couple reportedly carried out the tragic act.
