Mufti Taqi Usmani Urges Peaceful Boycott for Palestine, Condemns Vandalism

Jarida Report

Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has called for peaceful protests and boycotts in support of Palestine, emphasizing that such actions should avoid violence and property damage. His appeal follows recent attacks on international fast-food chain outlets in Pakistan, including incidents in Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority, Mirpurkhas, and Karachi. Mufti Usmani condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and supported boycotting products linked to Israel or its supporters but stressed that Islam prohibits vandalism and harm to others. He urged that protests and boycotts be conducted peacefully, without causing unrest.
