Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at Anfield until 2027. The 32-year-old Egyptian international, who joined Liverpool in 2017 from AS Roma, was previously set to become a free agent in June 2025. Manager Arne Slot welcomed Salah’s contract extension, highlighting the forward’s immense value to the team. Slot noted that Salah’s decision to stay would positively influence Liverpool’s future transfer endeavors.
Salah’s new contract is reportedly worth £41.6 million in total, with a weekly salary increase to £400,000. Despite interest from the Saudi Pro League offering £130 million annually, Salah chose to remain at Liverpool, valuing his legacy and ambition to win more trophies with the club.
