Men’s Fashion Takes Center Stage This Eid with the Return of Flared Trousers

Jarida Report

This Eid, Pakistani men’s fashion saw a notable shift with the resurgence of flared trousers, a style reminiscent of the 1970s. Traditionally, men have opted for conservative kurta shalwars in neutral tones during Eid celebrations. However, this year, several male celebrities embraced this vintage trend, incorporating flared pants into their ensembles.

Ali Ansari chose an all-white kameez paired with flared trousers, adding a contemporary twist to a classic look. Farhan Saeed also donned a similar outfit, complementing his attire with formal shoes for a sophisticated finish. Osman Khalid Butt took a more fashion-forward approach, wearing an all-blue three-piece ensemble featuring a kameez with puffy sleeves and baggy, straight-legged trousers. Danish Taimoor opted for a beige embroidered kameez with plain flared trousers, styled with chunky brown loafers, blending traditional and modern elements seamlessly. Fahad Mustafa went the haute couture route, donning a Sana Safinaz kurta set with a coat featuring elaborate net embroidery, balancing textures with silky, lightweight kurta and structured, flared trousers.

The return of flared trousers among Pakistani men this Eid highlights a growing willingness to experiment with bold silhouettes and vintage styles, signaling a potential shift in traditional men’s fashion trends.
