In a pattern of irreverence towards female consent another incident comes to light. A Pakistani female social media influencer, Samiya Hijab reported that a young man allegedly attempted to kidnap her. This was intended as a vengeance plot following her rejection to a marriage proposal.
“First he used to tell me to marry him. I rejected his proposal, but he kept following me,” she said.
The question remains whether this was a publicity stunt for clout or is she still under the danger of continued stalking?
