Lakki Marwat Police Arrest Over Two Dozen Suspects, Seize Weapons After Terrorist Attacks

On May 10, 2025, Lakki Marwat police conducted a large-scale search and strike operation in rural areas following a terrorist attack on the homes of two policemen in Langerkhel Pacca, which left an 18-year-old injured. The operation led to the arrest of over two dozen suspects and the seizure of an AK-47 rifle, a hand grenade, ammunition, and narcotics. In a separate incident, terrorists torched the house of a former sub-inspector in Dabak Mandrakhel. Additionally, authorities dismantled a gang involved in solving teacher recruitment test papers in Bannu, arresting 10 individuals and seizing examination materials and electronic devices.
