Karachi Unveils Traffic Plan to Ease Ramazan Congestion

Karachi’s administration has introduced a traffic plan to ease congestion during Ramazan, especially around Iftar hours. Traffic police deployment will be increased from 2 pm to 7 pm on busy roads. Market help desks will assist with traffic management during Eid shopping. Basement parking in commercial buildings, previously misused as warehouses, will be restored for parking. Authorities will also coordinate with market associations to improve traffic flow. These measures aim to prevent gridlock and ensure smoother movement during the holy month.
