JI to Lead Long March from Quetta to Islamabad on July 25 Demanding Balochistan’s Rights

On June 30, 2025, Jamaat-i-Islami’s Balochistan emir, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman, announced plans for a long protest march from Quetta to Islamabad scheduled for July 25. The march aims to highlight grievances that the federal government is marginalising Balochistan—depriving the region of rights, sidelining it within CPEC, and failing to resolve issues like missing persons and closed border trade.
