“JI Announces April 26 Strike to Protest Israeli Aggression in Gaza

Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) has strongly condemned Israel’s continued aggression in Gaza and announced a countrywide strike in Pakistan on April 26. JI chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman called on all political, religious, and social groups to unite in support of Palestinians. He criticized the international community’s silence and urged Pakistanis to use peaceful protest as a means to raise awareness. Rehman emphasized that the strike is a moral stand to show solidarity with the people of Gaza during their ongoing suffering.
