ISPR Denies Security Forces’ Involvement in North Waziristan Incident; Blames Indian-Backed Militants

Jarida Report

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has refuted claims that Pakistan’s security forces were responsible for a May 19, 2025, incident in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, which resulted in the deaths of four children and a woman. The ISPR attributes the attack to “Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij,” referring to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and describes the allegations against the military as part of a disinformation campaign aimed at undermining counterterrorism efforts. A comprehensive investigation has been initiated to identify and prosecute those responsible.
