Iranian Power Supply to Makran Fully Restored After Two-Day Outage

Electricity to Pakistan’s Makran division—including Kech, Gwadar, and Panjgur—was fully restored from Iran via the 132 kV Pishin‑Mand and Polan‑Jiwani lines at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, after a two-day cut that left communities without power amid extreme heat  . QESCO had shifted supply temporarily to the national grid to manage the outage. The suspension, which began Sunday around 2:30 p.m., affected vital areas like Gwadar Port and the new Gwadar airport
