Iran Open to Nuclear Dialogue with U.S., President Accuses Israel of Failed Assassination Attempt

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in a Tucker Carlson interview that Tehran is “open” to resuming nuclear talks with the U.S., but warned that trust must be rebuilt following recent U.S. and Israeli strikes  . He claimed Israel attempted to assassinate him during a bombing raid that killed Iranian military leaders and scientists, but insisted the plot failed  . The comments follow aftermath of June’s 12-day Israel‑Iran conflict, and highlight strained diplomacy and regional tension.
