India Urges US to Designate Sikhs for Justice as a Terrorist Organization

Jarida Report

India has requested the United States to designate Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) as a terrorist organization, according to an Indian source. SFJ, a pro-Khalistan group advocating for an independent Sikh state, is already banned in India under anti-terror laws. The request comes amid strained India-U.S. relations following allegations of an Indian plot to assassinate a Sikh separatist leader in the U.S. Washington has yet to officially respond to India’s demand, which underscores ongoing tensions over Sikh separatist activities.
