Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said on Tuesday that whenever governor’s rule is imposed, it is imposed with justification, as its scope arises only when governance failures become apparent.
Speaking on a private TV program, he stated that the governor’s rule becomes an option when a government is not performing its duties, and when a provincial administration fails in maintaining law and order, counterterrorism, and overall governance.
