Gold prices plummeted by Rs25,500 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs511,862 per tola, according to the Sarafa Association. This marks a total drop of Rs 61,000 in just two days, with a significant Rs 35,500 decline recorded on Friday alone, signaling a sharp downturn in the precious metal’s value.
The yellow commodity plunged by $255 in the international market, where it is being traded for $4,895. Silver prices also followed the downtrend, with the per tola rate dropping to Rs9,006 after a whopping Rs2,063 dip.
