Four Terrorists Killed in South Waziristan Operation by Security Forces

On May 2, 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kalotai area of Birmal tehsil, Lower South Waziristan, targeting a terrorist hideout. Upon surrounding the compound, the terrorists opened fire, leading to a heavy exchange of gunfire. The operation resulted in the elimination of four terrorists, while two security personnel sustained minor injuries and received first aid at the scene. A subsequent search operation led to the recovery of a significant cache of arms and ammunition. The military has vowed to continue operations against anti-state elements to restore peace in the region.
