Security forces carried out a precision intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Monday in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, targeting the reported presence of terrorists linked to the India-backed Fitna al Khwarij group.
During the operation, troops engaged the militants at the identified location. After an intense exchange of fire, four khwarij were neutralised. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities across the area. The targeted operation aimed to dismantle a cell actively plotting attacks and destabilising the region.
