Federal Cabinet Expanded to 43 Members with New Ministerial Appointments

On March 7, 2025, the Pakistani federal government assigned portfolios to recent cabinet inductees and reassigned existing ministers’ roles. This expansion increased the cabinet size from 21 to 43 members, comprising 30 federal ministers, nine ministers of state, and four advisers. Notable appointments include Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary as Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Pervaiz Malik for Petroleum, and Syed Mustafa Kamal for National Health Services. Additionally, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak was appointed Adviser on Interior Affairs.
