Speaking in Islamabad, he argued that Iran did not initiate aggression, despite Israel’s June 13 strikes—backed by the U.S.—against Iranian nuclear sites. He condemned Western silence over Israel’s actions and questioned the IAEA’s selective judgments. Asif emphasized that Iran remained committed to diplomacy, insisting it never abandoned the negotiating table.
