Dar Condemns Israel–US Strikes on Iran as “Unacceptable” at SCO Meeting

Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar strongly denounced recent military strikes by Israel and the United States on Iran during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Tianjin on July 15, 2025. He described the June Israeli bombing campaign on Iranian military and nuclear sites, which reportedly killed over 1,000 people, as “unjustified and illegitimate aggression,” and called US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities equally “unacceptable”.
