The FBI Director, Kash Patel leads the investigation into the murder of Charlie Kirk. With the tumult and lack of answers up till this point he is bracing for United States congressional scrutiny. The conservative commentator was assassinated and the agency has had several missteps, including his erroneous announcement on social media that “the subject” in the killing was in custody when it wasn’t so.
Patel is set to appear on Tuesday and Wednesday before the Senate and House judiciary committees, during which he is expected to answer questions concerning not just this case in particular but the overall stability of this agency.
