Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that the Rajanpur and Kacha regions have been 100% cleared of criminals following a decisive operation.
Addressing a meeting on the operation, she said that the criminals had effectively created ‘a state within the state’, spreading fear and abducting people using honey-trap tactics. Maryam Nawaz stated that despite warnings of difficulty, the operation was conducted successfully in the Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur with the support of the Pakistan Army, police, and other law enforcement agencies. Advanced technology, including drone cameras and human surveillance, was used to track every criminal’s movement.
