China’s FM Wang: India–China Ties Should Be Built on “Win–Win” Cooperation

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has emphasised that China and India, as neighbouring emerging powers, should frame their relationship around mutual trust, respect, and shared development—what he described as a “Dragon‑Elephant Tango.” Speaking during a meeting with India’s EAM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Wang urged both sides not to let border tensions define their interactions, but to pursue broader collaboration across diplomacy, trade, people‑to‑people exchange, and Global South leadership.
