- On January 25, 2025, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) held a significant rally in Dalbandin, Balochistan, despite the enforcement of Section 144, which restricts public gatherings, and the suspension of mobile services in the area. The Balochistan government cited security concerns as the reason for these measures. BYC organizers reported that mobile services had been suspended in Dalbandin, Chagai, and Noshki for three days, hindering communication with incoming convoys. During the rally, BYC leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch emphasized opposition to unauthorized exploitation of Balochistan’s mineral resources and called upon human rights organizations to address alleged injustices in the province.
