Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government for failing to announce its Ramazan relief package. She emphasized that while the KP government has yet to take action, Punjab has been successfully distributing the “Ramazan Negahban Package” based on merit, ensuring that aid reaches eligible individuals at their doorsteps.
In her statement, Bukhari further pointed out that the KP government seemed to prioritize personal gains over public welfare, claiming that their focus is more on issues like the release of certain individuals and spreading division rather than addressing the needs of the people during Ramadan. She also stated that the KP government had not yet gathered the necessary digital data to facilitate the aid process.
