Ghazifa Bashir is a writer and FSc Pre-Medical student at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. Her work has appeared in Monograph Magazine, St. Stephen's College PostScript (twice), The Disappointed Housewife, Jarida Today, Swim Press (twice), Florescence Magazine, Unearthed, iExile, Bowen Street Press, Apparna Hsna Magazine, the Jollie Publication (Petrichor) Anthology, Parcham Magazine, MindPrint Magazine, and the Yasco Foundation Anthology. Her writing has also been adapted into audio by the Sinister Minutes Podcast. She is the recipient of the Adam Smith Center International Essay Prize (Second Place, Florida International University), the Fanoos Essay Competition (First Place, UET Lahore), the GGAC Essay Competition (Second Place, Nigeria), the DDLS Competition (Second Place), and an Honourable Mention at the Cambridge Re:think Essay Competition. Her work has also been recognized with a Commendation from the Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation and a nomination for Best of the Net.
