Indian troops participate earnestly in the Russian-led Zapad-2025 military drills, Russian state agency TASS reported on Tuesday, highlighting Moscow’s close and growing ties with New Delhi, which emerge as a consequence of United States’s strained relationship with India by the imposition of hefty tariffs by President Donald Trump. The Indian Ministry of Defence confirms that it has sent 65 armed forces personnel to participate in the drill.

As the world drowns in floods, UN has reported that North Korea will enjoy a strong harvest this fall due to continued clement weather conditions this summer. Although, the low rainfall might lead to the winter crops having fewer yield but this is something the country is well prepared for.

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported on Monday that “remote sensing data” indicated “good vegetation conditions across most of the country” as of late August, just before the harvest season begins, anticipating “generally favorable yields and production prospects.”
