Jarida Report

On April 18, 2025, a 46-year-old Ahmadi businessman was lynched in Karachi’s Saddar area when supporters of the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) stormed an Ahmadi place of worship to disrupt religious rituals. The victim, identified as Laeeq Cheema, was reportedly filming the protest when he was recognized and beaten by the mob. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
