Ismail also highlighted that Pakistan’s electricity prices surpass those in neighboring countries, attributing this to unsuccessful policies and frequent policy reversals.Â
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar recently stated that retail sugar prices should not exceed Rs164 per kilogram, following warnings from the Competition Commission of Pakistan against price manipulation by sugar mills.Â
