PPP Senator’s Convoy Attacked in Sindh; Guard Killed, Others Injured

On March 16, 2025, the convoy of PPP Senator Jam Mehtab Dahar was attacked in Sindh’s Khenjoo area. The assailants opened fire around 1:45 pm as the senator was en route to his agricultural land. While Senator Dahar remained unharmed, his guard, Zafar Dahar, was killed, and three others sustained injuries. Ghotki SSP Dr. Samiullah Soomro confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are underway. PPP President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attack, expressing grief over the loss and urging swift action to apprehend the perpetrators.
