PCB Vows to Prevent Future Pitch Invasions After Rawalpindi Incident

Jarida Report

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has addressed a security breach during the ICC Champions Trophy match between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, where a spectator entered the field attempting to hug New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra. The individual, carrying a photograph of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, was arrested, presented in court, and has been permanently banned from all cricket venues in Pakistan. The PCB is collaborating with local security agencies to enhance security measures and prevent future incidents.
