Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commenced a two-day official visit to Uzbekistan, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations. Upon his arrival in Tashkent, he was warmly received by Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov and other high-ranking officials. During this visit, PM Shehbaz is scheduled to meet with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss various areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, energy, defense, and education. The discussions are expected to culminate in the signing of multiple agreements and memorandums of understanding to enhance cooperation. Additionally, the Prime Minister will address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, engaging with leading businessmen from both countries to explore avenues for increased bilateral trade.
