Leighton Meester is set to guest star in the second season of Netflix’s romantic comedy series “Nobody Wants This,” joining her husband, Adam Brody. Meester will portray Abby, the middle school nemesis of Kristen Bell’s character, Joanne, who has evolved into an Instagram mommy influencer. The series, which premiered in September 2024, follows the unconventional romance between Joanne, a sex and dating podcaster, and Noah, a rabbi played by Brody. The first season concluded with the couple facing significant personal and cultural challenges. Production for the second season is scheduled to commence in March 2025.
