Lal Masjid Cleric’s Wife, 12 Others Remanded Over Attack on Officials

An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has granted a four-day physical remand for Ume Hassan, wife of the Lal Masjid cleric, and 12 others following their arrest related to an armed attack on government officials and property. The incident, involving six women and seven men, occurred at Madani Mosque in Margalla Town during a dispute over mosque property designated for a seminary. The accused allegedly attacked officials and seized building materials. The court emphasized the need to apprehend additional suspects linked to the case.
