Police Constable Martyred in Quetta by Unidentified Gunmen

On January 30, 2025, in Quetta, police constable Mehboob Shah was fatally shot by unidentified assailants as he returned home from duty at the United Nations office. The attackers ambushed him near his residence on Manu Jan Road, opening fire before fleeing the scene. Shah died instantly, and his body was subsequently transported to a hospital before being handed over to his family following funeral prayers at Quetta Civil Lines. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
