The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a revised fee structure for several identity and registration documents, with charges varying according to normal, urgent and executive processing categories.
For a Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as Form B, the normal processing fee is Rs50. No urgent service is available, while executive processing costs Rs500.
The Juvenile Card will cost Rs750 under normal processing, Rs1,500 for urgent processing and Rs2,500 under the executive category.
For a first-time National Identity Card (NIC), NADRA will continue to provide normal processing free of charge. Applicants choosing faster processing will pay Rs1,150 for urgent service and Rs2,150 for executive service.
A Smart National Identity Card carries fees of Rs750 for normal, Rs1,500 for urgent and Rs2,500 for executive processing.
Charges for the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) depend on the applicant’s geographical zone. In Zone A, which includes the United States, Europe and Australia, fees are $39 for normal, $57 for urgent and $75 for executive processing.
For Zone B, covering the Middle East, Africa and other Asian countries, NICOP charges are $20 for normal, $30 for urgent and $40 for executive processing.
NADRA has also set the Pakistan Origin Card (POC) fee at $150 for normal processing, $200 for urgent service and $250 for executive processing.
