BAP Leader, Tribal Elder Among 11 Killed in Separate Balochistan Incidents

Jarida Report

QUETTA: At least 11 people, including a Balochistan Awami Party leader and a tribal elder, were killed in separate incidents across Balochistan, as the province continues to grapple with a deteriorating security situation.

Six bullet-riddled bodies were recovered in Mastung district, while three farm workers were killed in a separate attack in Duki, according to officials.

Among those killed in other incidents were a local BAP leader and a tribal elder, adding to a series of targeted killings and militant attacks reported across the province.

Security forces and police launched investigations and search operations following the killings. Authorities had not immediately established whether the separate incidents were connected.

The violence comes amid intensified counterterrorism operations in Balochistan and neighbouring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security forces have reported killing dozens of militants in recent engagements.
